The Exhibitions currently take place each year in July.  They are open to the public for six days including:

There is a 'entry by ticket only' Private View and Reception for Exhibitors on the Monday preceding the public exhibition.

 

Handing in of entries for the exhibition takes place on Sunday 12 July 2009 between 10am and 4pm.

 

Handing back of those entries not sold is on the Sunday 19 July 2009 between 5pm and 6pm.

 

Members of the public who buy exhibits may only collect them on Sunday 19 July between 5pm and 6pm.

This year exhibition attracted a record number of visitors, 1022 who in turn bought plenty of exhibits. A third of those artists exhibiting sold their work, a 10% increase from last year. This was hardly surprising given the quality and range of the work entered for the exhibition but great news in what has been a gloomy outlook for the economy.

 

We had 571 exhibits, both two and three dimensional, filling every room in the venue.  Artists demonstrating their skills to the public, a regular feature now, were very popular and attracted a lot of interest.  Every year we attract more artists entering the show and if you would like to be put on the mailing list, or would like to advertise in the exhibition catalogue please use contact Lingfield Art page.
