application to exhibit

To enter for the 2021 Exhibition, which will be open to the public between Monday 25th and Sunday 31st October, you will need to complete the application to exhibit form. This is dispatched in July to artists already on our mailing list. Other artists who have not received them can download them from this website. Before you submit your application, you should download and read our terms and conditions.

The venue for the Exhibition will as usual be the Lingfield & Dormansland Community Centre, High Street, Lingfield RH7 6AB.

Application form

The application form can be completed by filling out a form electronically or by hand.

Two version of the form are available.  The Microsoft Word file can be downloaded, competed electronically and returned by email. The pdf file can be downloaded, competed electronically and returned by email or post.

Each framed or sculpture exhibit must have a label attached. Labels can be downloaded here.

Application deadline

The closing date is 5pm on Friday 24th September 2021. We will accept application forms on a first received first accepted basis as there is a limit on hanging space of approximately 300 exhibits. We have requested the size of your exhibits to enable us to fairly apportion the hanging space.

Please note that you will not be able to make changes to your exhibit details after the closing date.

Payment of fees

In line with current trends to avoid handling cash, we would like artists, where possible, to pay their entry fees for the exhibition by BACS.  This avoids handling cheques and will enable artists to complete their application from home.  Of course, for those who are unable to do this, a cheque will still be accepted.  Details are included in the application forms. The entry fees must be paid when the application is returned.

Publicising the Exhibition

We need to publicise this event widely, and it would help if you would download our advertising flier to display and distribute to your friends.

Data Protection

Lingfield Art Association keeps exhibitors' contact details for administrative purposes, record keeping, and the arrangement of the annual art exhibitions only. Particulars will not be disclosed to any persons outside the Lingfield Art Association Trustees. You can see a copy of our data protecton policy here.
